BRETT RODEWALD
PRESIDENT, CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

Brett Rodewald is CEO of Lucent Health Solutions, providing the innovation and leadership for the company.  Brett’s commitment to utilizing data to drive solutions for healthcare clients is changing the face of healthcare.  Prior to launching Lucent Health Solutions, Brett served as CEO, Comdata Corporation.  During his tenure, Brett transitioned Comdata from a fuel card processor to a corporate payment solutions company with expanded markets to include healthcare, construction, hospitality, and aviation.  Prior to joining Comdata, Brett held various financial leadership positions with Bank of America and First Union National Bank.  Brett has over 25 years of general management and finance experience and earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Arizona State University.

ALEX ARNET
CHIEF COMMERCIAL OFFICER

Mr. Arnet is the Chief Commercial Officer of Lucent Health Solutions, leading sales and marketing and driving product innovation and growth leadership for the company.  Alex has a history of developing and implementing highly effective growth strategies with a keen focus on innovative health risk management solutions to deliver the most affordable plans to employers.  Prior to launching Lucent Health Solutions, Alex had a 25 year career in the healthcare industry.  His successful track record growing companies includes his early career as an underwriter at Prudential and in senior sales leadership roles at United Healthcare,   He was one of the principals in the spinout of United Healthcare Administrators/Benesight, launching and leading Specialty Markets at Great-West Healthcare, and as Chief Sales Officer at HealthSmart.  In addition to his Sales & Marketing leadership, Mr. Arnet has been a leader in successfully creating an integrated environment for the acquired companies.

TODD SYKES
CHIEF INFORMATION OFFICER

Mr. Sykes is Lucent Health’s Chief Information Officer. Todd has over 15 years of experience establishing business intelligence strategies, tactical information technology support and automated reporting and associated analytics for technology, BFSI and consumer verticals. Todd’s experience is comprehensive and spans technical data analysis using platforms such Oracle and SAP. Having led large teams of database administrators and developers, Todd has the practical hands-on experience in optimizing processes, motivating teams and quickly securing high-quality results with collaboration across the organization. Before joining Lucent Health, Todd was the Vice President of Data Management and Business Intelligence at Comdata Corporation and the Senior Vice President, Information Systems Manager at Bank of America.

DOUG THOMPSON
CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

Doug Thompson is CFO of Lucent Health Solutions and responsible for corporate finance, treasury, planning, tax and risk management. Prior to joining Lucent Health, Doug was CFO for Corizon; he has worked for Beacon Health Options (Behavioral Health), HealthSpring (Medicare Advantage), and CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield (Commercial insurer). In his new role as CFO, Doug will report to the Lucent Health CEO. Doug has over 15 years of senior finance experience. He holds a Master of Science in Finance, Master of Business Administration and Bachelor of Business Administration, all from Loyola University Maryland.

CLAY TIMMONS
SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT, SALES

Mr. Timmons serves as the Senior Vice President of Sales for Lucent Health out of the Dallas office. Clay is responsible for Sales and Product Development for the Lucent Health family of companies. Mr. Timmons has over 23 years of both clinical and professional healthcare leadership. He brings a wealth of experience in the areas of clinical integration, data analytics, predictive population health management as well as a strong track record of creating solutions which effectively drive down the cost of healthcare. Prior to joining Lucent Health, Clay served as the National Vice President of Sales for HealthSmart Benefit Solutions for over 17 years. Clay has spent his entire career in the healthcare field after receiving his Bachelor of Science Degree in Sales and Marketing from Texas Tech University.

MARK STEPHEN WARE
SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT, MARKETING, BRANDING AND STRATEGIC ALLIANCES

Mr. Ware serves as Lucent Health’s Senior Vice President of Marketing, Branding and Strategic Alliances. Mark is responsible for the marketing organization and for evolving the go-to-market strategy for the Lucent Health services’ portfolio, brand visibility, demand generation, corporate communications, knowledge management, strategic alliances and digital properties. Mark has over 20 years of experience leading sales and marketing teams holding leaderships positions in technology, big-box retail, healthcare and global consulting verticals. Mark brings to Lucent Health his strong reputation for marketing innovation and entrepreneurial collaboration. Most recently Mark came from the global management consulting space leading an international team responsible for digital marketing, events, communications, strategic alliances and creative. Mark’s previous leadership roles include Healthsmart where he built the business case and creative concepts for a multi-million-dollar tribal service offering. Earlier in his career, Mark led Ericsson’s Wireline Services marketing and customer satisfaction team for North, Central and South America. As a trusted C-suite marketing advisor, Mark has coached startups and SMBs regarding brand diagnostics, customer perceptions, sales training and digital marketing automation strategies.

DAVID REYNOLDS
PRESIDENT, CAPITOL ADMINISTRATORS, INC.

Mr. Reynolds has been President/CEO and Principal of Capitol Administrators since 1999. Under his leadership, Capitol has expanded over 200,000 members and four markets. Mr. Reynolds has many years of experience in the manage care area, including Chief Operations Officers of Foundation Health Preferred Administrators. Formerly with the United HealthCare, he held the position of Vice President of Sales and Marketing for the Western Region where his organization consistently led the country in sales and customer retention. Mr. Reynolds is past President and current Board Member of the HealthCare Administrators Association, National Benefits Administrators, and a former Director/Secretary/Treasurer of the Sacramento Association of Health Underwriters. Mr. Reynolds is also a licensed Life and Health Agent in California and Certified Self Funded Specialist.

In Addition, Mr. Reynolds has held the position at the Travelers Insurance Company of Vice President of Western Region Operations including the functions of Account Management, Installation, Eligibility, Billing/Banking, and Contracts. He was a member of the Senior Staff responsible for opening of the first Regional Group Insurance office for the Travelers Insurance Company in Walnut Creek, CA. He was responsible for Account Management of large accounts, the Directors of Technology, and for implementing their first Manage Care cases and the design and formation of the first Regional Managed Care Member Service Center in San Diego. Mr. Reynolds has been a presenter at industry conferences and is on healthcare consultant panels for two national consulting firms.

DANNY DUGAN
PRESIDENT, NORTH AMERICA ADMINISTRATORS

Danny Dugan began his career with NAA as a marketing representative to single employer self-funded group health plans in 1985. He assumed ownership of the company in 1993 and currently serves as President/CEO.

Danny is a member of the Society of Professional Benefit Administrators, the Self Insurance Institute of America, Health Care Administrators Association, and the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans. In addition to his tireless dedication to his company, he is an active supporter of the Down Syndrome Association of Middle Tennessee, Nashville Area Habitat for Humanity, and a member of St. Stephen Catholic Community.
